Good thought, more people should think like you.
Err easier said than done as far as India is concerned.
Other countries when it suits them can trade all they want with rogue nations. remember that the US never sanctioned South Africa.
India has to deal with burma because of the insurgency that comes from there and also to counter the chinese moving to get access to a port in Burma.
So unless it is done in coordination with China, Thailand - it will not work
